Concrete Finishes

Concrete Polishing Finishes

Flat
  • Flat (Ground)

Reflected images have a flat, dull appearance with no noticeable sharpness. This finish offers minimal image clarity, ranging from 0–9%, making it ideal for surfaces where reflection isn’t important.

Satin
  • Satin (Honed)

This finish gives reflected images a matte appearance, slightly more defined than flat but still soft and muted. Image clarity ranges from 10–39%, offering a subtle, understated look.

Polished
  • Polished

Reflections in this finish are recognizable but not sharply defined. Objects being reflected can be easily identified, though the image lacks crispness. With an image clarity of 40–69%, this balances visual clarity and a refined aesthetic.

Highly Polished
  • Highly Polished

Expect a near-mirror-like reflection with sharp, crisp images. This finish provides the highest level of image clarity at 70–100%, making it ideal for dramatic visual impact. It may require additional finishing steps like grouting to maintain its pristine look.
